Stunning graphics from 1961 by John Whitney… did this really use a computer? in which case, wow.
Whitney is considered by many to be the father of computer graphics

i collected over 2,000 Nike sneaker pictures from shops and a few sneaker blogs and put together this video. The aim was to visualize the music using sneakers. Some parts track the beats, bass and other sounds, some follow the vocal.I can’t believe how well it’s gone - Sneaker News, Freshness mag and FunkMaster Flex all blogged about it. SWEET!
The next video will use sneakers pictures from people I know and fly creps that i see on Tumblr… so if you clicked like on your post I’m probably jacking it. Holler at me if you mind. If you want your sneakers featured, check the link on the right. This one is going to be MASSIVE (and i have a pretty amazing surprise that will blow you away)
The post below is the same video but in Vimeo, which is a bit bigger.
here’s the same video but in Vimeo - i have a feeling people would rather reblog Vimeo than Youtube, so this is a little experiment. Forgive the duplication.
here’s the track that was used for the 2000 Sneakers video, if anyone wants to grab it. There’s a limit on downloads, so if you can’t get it, holler at me on minijacked at gmail.
